HANOI, VIETNAM

Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam , and also its second largest
city, is a fascinating blend of East and West, combining traditional Sino-Vietnamese motifs with French flair.
It is largely unscathed from the decades of war, and is now going through a building boom, making it a rapidly developing city in Southeast Asia.
Its population in 2009 was estimated at 2.6 million for urban districts, 6.5 million for the metropolitan jurisdiction.
From 1010 until 1802, it was the most important political centre of Vietnam. It was eclipsed by Hue, the imperial capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945), but Hanoi served as the capital of French Indochina from 1902 to 1954. From 1954 to 1976, it was the capital ofNorth Vietnam, and it became the capital of a reunified Vietnam in 1976, after the North's victory in the Vietnam War.
The city is located on the right bank of the Red River.

During the Vietnam War, Hanoi's transportation facilities were disrupted by the bombing of bridges and railways. These were all, however, promptly repaired. Following the end of the war, Hanoi became the capital of a reunified Vietnam when North and South Vietnam were reunited on July 2, 1976.
Modern Hanoi, on May 29, 2008, it was decided that Ha Tay Province, Vinh Phuc's Me Linh  district and 4 communes of Lurong Son District, Hoa Binh be merged into the metropolitan area of Hanoi from August 1, 2008.
The Hanoi Capital Region, a metropolitan area covering Hanoi and 6 surrounding provinces under its administration, will have an area of 13,436 square kilometers with a population of 15 million by 2020.

TAHITI, FRENCH

Queen of the Pacific
Tahiti is the largest island throughout the country. Towering over the ocean like a proud and royal Queen is appropriately crowned by a circle of majestic peaks.
The mountainous interior is adorned with deep valleys, clear streams, and high waterfalls, all bathed in green iridescence of Mother Nature's light.

Tahiti is the largest island in the Windward group of French Polynesia, located in the archipelago of the Society Islands  in the southern Pacific Ocean. It is the economic, cultural and political centre of French Polynesia. The island was formed from volcanic activity and is high and mountainous with surroundin coral reefs. Tahiti was formerly known as Otaheite.
Papeete, meaning the water basket, was once a gathering place where Tahitians came to fill their calabashes with fresh waters. Now the invigorating capital city and gateway of the country, boasts world-class resorts, spas, fine dining and unique restaurants, nightclubs, vibrant markets, pearl shops, and boutiques.
Tahiti. The word evokes visions of an island paradise. With 118 islands boasting high, rugged mountain peaks, coral reefs, turquoise-blue lagoons, white sand, palm-fringed beaches, and luxuriously intimate resorts, each island paradise has something for everyone.
Many islands are crowned with jagged peaks while others appear to barely float above the breaking waves. Spanning an area in the South Pacific as large as Western Europe, the total land mass of all the islands adds up to an area only slightly larger than the tiny state of Rhode Island.

GREAT WALL OF CHINA

The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China in part to protect the Chinese Empire or its prototypical states against intrusions by various nomadic groups or military incursions by various warlike peoples or forces.
THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA
Great Wall of China is the biggest barrier and length ever made by human. Great Wall we see today is the result of the development of the Ming Dynasty. The interior of the wall containing soil mixed with rocks. Uppers made the main road to the cavalry of China. It is much stronger and last longer.  The main function of this wall is to withstand the onslaught of the nomadic tribes from the north. This wall extends more than 20,000 kilometers, splitting the vast plains and mountains of China.
THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA
Besides Top Lake to the west, another tip is located at Shanhaiguan. Located in eastern China, was named as the Shanhaiguan Old Dragon`s Head or also called Laolongtou. Floating on the surface of the tip of the Bohai Sea. The place is also a tourism destination because on it there monitoring tower and a temple.Ends exactly jutted into the Bohai Sea. This place is so tourist destination because monitoring tower perched on top and a temple.
THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA

But apparently, not entirely the Laolongtou is the original building. Collecting sites Amusing Planet, in July 1905 Japanese troops landed at Shanhai Pass. They bombard the area, destroying several side walls. What stands now is the China government's efforts to create a replica of the original building.

KOH RONG, CAMBODIA

Koh Rong  is the second largest island of Cambodia. Located in Koh Kong Province about 25 kilometers off the Sihanoukville's coast in the Gulf of Thailand, the island has an area of approximately 78 km2 and 43 km of beaches. Currently, there are four small villages: Koh Tuich, Dam Dkeuw, Prek Svay and Soksan. The island is also home to more than a dozen guesthouses and bungalows, many of them foreign-owned.
The island is part of the Koh Rong archipelago, a string of islands in the Gulf of Thailand. Like most of its neighboring islands, Koh Rong has had a land concession granted by the Cambodian government. The Royal Group has been granted a 99-year lease and has plans to build Asia’s first environmentally planned resort island.
Koh Rong is quite possibly that cliched island paradise you've been looking for, boasting pristine white beaches, turquoise water and limited development. For years the island was almost completely undeveloped save for a diving outfit and a few bungalows on either side of the island.
In late 2010 and early 2011, a number of new operations opened up, as well as regular boats to the island. Since late 2012, more accommodation has been built and an increasing number of visitors have been discovering the beauty of island life here. But with still only 18 sets of bungalows on the 78 square kilometre island at the time of writing in early 2013, it still has a near-deserted feel to it with just enough going on to make it comfortable.

The island is truly gorgeous, and well worth the two-and-a-half hour boat trip from Sihanoukville. There are seven bays on the island, all teeming with marine life, making for great snorkelling and diving. The most visitors are busy with diving, snorkelling, mountain biking, trekking, kayaks and motorbike treks, and plenty of sand, sun and sea for those with more relaxed tastes.

Koh Rong has 43 kilometres of beaches, but the majority of bars and accommodation is on the southeast, by Koh Touch village. There's a shop, laundry services and a choice of eating, but no ATMs or internet cafes.
